Loyalty. Strategy. Glory.
Welcome to TuddyBowl Ride or Die, where you lock in 5 players before the NFL Playoffs and ride with them to Super Bowl glory. Original picks earn full points, but smart swaps can keep you competitive even when your team gets eliminated.
What is Ride or Die?
Ride or Die is an exciting postseason fantasy format where you commit to 5 NFL players before the playoffs begin. Your roster of 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WRs, and 1 TE will earn points throughout all playoff games their teams play.
The key twist? Players you stick with earn 100% of their fantasy points, but if you need to swap (like when a team gets eliminated), each swap reduces your multiplier for that position. True loyalty is rewarded, but strategic pivots can save your season.
- Lock in 5 players before Wild Card weekend
- Earn PPR fantasy points throughout the playoffs
- Swap players between rounds with a penalty multiplier
The Degrading Multiplier System
Your original picks earn full value, but each swap reduces the multiplier for that specific roster slot:
- 🟢 Original Pick: 100% of fantasy points
- 🟡 After 1st Swap: 60% of fantasy points
- 🟠After 2nd Swap: 50% of fantasy points
- 🔴 After 3rd Swap: 40% of fantasy points
- 🔴 After 4th+ Swaps: 30% of fantasy points (floor)
For example: If your QB scores 25 points and you've swapped QBs twice, you earn 25 × 50% = 12.5 points for that position.
When Can You Swap?
Swaps are only allowed between playoff rounds. After Wild Card games are complete, you can swap before Divisional Round. After Divisional, swap before Conference Championships. And one final chance before the Super Bowl.
When a player's team is eliminated, you'll be automatically prompted to fill that slot with another active playoff player. Choose wisely – each swap costs you more of your multiplier!
Strategy Tips for Success
To maximize your points in Ride or Die, consider these strategies:
- Target players from teams with the best playoff paths (higher seeds, home field advantage)
- Consider player health and recent performance heading into playoffs
- Balance high-ceiling picks with safe, consistent performers
- If you need to swap, make it count – don't waste swaps on marginal upgrades
- Watch for eliminated teams early so you can swap before the multiplier drops further
